There’s still a surprising account of work to do ahead of Spring. (obviously dependent on the size of your garden, the larger it is the more likely there will be continuous work throughout)
Winter is coming..
Lots of tidying, cutting back. Other things to do. Lift dahlias and store in dry compost, cut back perennials, plant bulbs, weed beds and mulch with compost/manure -this will give the beds a good start for spring planting. Use violas, winter pansies and cyclamen to give some colour over the winter months.
Autumn tidy up
The summer gardening is coming to an end and now it’s the beginning of tidying and preparing for winter and spring.
