My interest in gardening started at a young age with my grandparents- who used to grow vegetables, show flowers and produce home-madecider. I have worked for Age UK prior to the COVID pandemic helping clients who have found that they could not manage their gardens as well as they used to. During the COVID lockdown I set up Madgardencare providing gardening and handyman services to clients in East Sussex.
I have travelled and worked in various countries and in Spain we had a 1.5 acre plot, where we grew vegetables, fruit trees (oranges, lemons and grapefruit), 23 olive trees which we harvested yearly for oil.
I have a degree in Zoology (although I have also studied Botany and Biochemistry as part of that).
I have now relocated to the Canterbury Kent area
