Mangetout

Almost ready to go out in the garden.. Last year I planted directly in the ground, only to find that birds, rats and other wildlife also like mangetout, and they weren’t fussy about waiting for the crop! So this year, these have been started inside and soon they will be big enough to stand the wildlife onslaught, even slug damage..I hope. Vegetables will be limited this year due to situations.. So I’ve opted instead for sowing lots of wildflower seeds for pollinators.. Watch this space for updates..
